Welcome to Barangay San Roque

Barangay San Roque is alongside Barangay Santa Lucia and Barangay Kikilo. Like the other neighboring barangays, there is also a need to use a pump boat to reach the area. Barangay San Roque also holds its own importance in the history of the Battle for Leyte Gulf, when the USS Nautilus submarine docked along its shores to unload supplies like food and weapons to the US soldiers. To get here, it takes about 40 minutes to get here from the town proper. They also have their own school, the San Roque Elementary School.
